Former Miami Dolphins player Xavien Howard is accused of sending inappropriate images to a minor after the minor’s mother refused to have an abortion. Howard, who played for the NFL team from 2016 until his release earlier this year, allegedly had a relationship with Jane Doe in 2022.

Jane Doe, filing anonymously in Broward Circuit Court, claims Howard recorded some interactions with her consent but secretly filmed others. After their breakup, Doe learned from other women that Howard shared their private videos without permission. The lawsuit intensified when a teenager, identified as John Doe, alleged Howard sent him inappropriate photos of his mother after she declined to abort their child.

Howard’s attorney, Ted Craig, denied the allegations, stating Howard looks forward to clearing his name in court. The filing indicates the images, deleted by the mother in September 2022, remained in the iCloud account, causing the teenager severe emotional distress when he later discovered them. The plaintiffs’ attorneys argue that Howard’s actions were part of an “ongoing campaign to cause distress” to the mother.

Despite his past achievements, including four Pro Bowl selections, Howard’s recent performance declined due to injuries. He remains a free agent after being released by the Dolphins.
