An election integrity investigation in Arizona uncovered several noncitizens in Phoenix allegedly admitting to being registered to vote in the upcoming election. Interviews conducted at one apartment complex revealed at least six individuals, including a woman waiting for residency status and a man born in Cuba, who claimed to have registered to vote and expressed support for Kamala Harris.

Efforts by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project to verify these individuals on voter rolls were unsuccessful. The organization raised concerns about noncitizens using fake documents and called the situation part of a larger issue of illegal voting. Mike Howell, executive director of the Oversight Project, stated that the left’s strategy relies on illegal votes to maintain power.

Meanwhile, House Republicans’ efforts to tie voter integrity legislation to a funding bill failed, and Arizona has also faced a technical glitch that allowed 98,000 voters to register without citizenship confirmation.
