Anti-Israel radicals blocked the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, the nation’s busiest, on Tuesday morning to protest U.S. support for Israel as it battles Hamas terrorists holding 115 hostages.

The Los Angeles Daily News reported:

Protesters demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war and an end to U.S. military support for Israel marched onto the southbound 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles, halting traffic and causing a miles-long backup during the morning rush hour.

The protesters, organized by IfNotNow Los Angeles, entered the freeway around 9 a.m. near Venice Boulevard, instantly backing up traffic south of the 10 Freeway.

“American Jews and allies have shut down the 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles in protest of U.S. support for Israel’s assault on Gaza,” said the organizers. “With one week to go before the Democratic National Convention, protesters demand elected officials call for a lasting ceasefire, reject the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and legislate an arms embargo.”

IfNotNow has a history of supporting terror, including reciting the Kaddish for Palestinians, mostly Hamas members, killed by Israeli soldiers while attempting to infiltrate Israel in 2018. They also back radical anti-Israel politicians like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), supported by Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, Gov. Tim Walz.

IfNotNow claimed to be observing Tisha B’Av, a Jewish day of mourning, though their actions effectively sided with terrorists aiming to destroy Israel.

California Highway Patrol arrived to clear the road, leading to nine arrests.
