A school bus aide in Spotsylvania, Virginia, is accused of sexually assaulting multiple disabled children, aged four and five, while riding the school bus.

Miguel Angel Velasquez Velasco was charged with eight counts of aggravated sexual battery, sodomy, and indecent liberties with a child, as shown in a jail booking from Rappahannock Regional Jail. He is being held without bond.

Police launched an investigation after receiving reports of inappropriate touching on the bus. Detectives found that Velasquez Velasco assaulted three disabled children on September 26.

Velasquez Velasco is a legal permanent resident with no criminal history. Despite inquiries, Superintendent Clint M. Mitchell has not publicly addressed the incident.

Commonwealth’s Attorney Ryan Mehaffey emphasized the case’s importance, though specific details remain sealed as it involves juvenile victims.
